Description

Our easy watermelon martini combines fresh watermelon juice and raspberry liqueur to create a fruit-forward take on a classic martini recipe. Fresh and fruity, this cocktail is summer in a glass!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 3 fl oz vodka
  • 1 fl oz of raspberry liqueur
  • 3/4 cup of watermelon
  • 1 fl oz freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1/2 fl oz simple syrup

Instructions

  1. Add watermelon to blender and blend on high for 30 seconds and strain through a small fine mesh strainer.
  2. Fill a cocktail shaker 1/2 full with ice. Pour in watermelon juice, vodka, raspberry liqueur, lime juice and simple syrup and shake. Pour into martini glasses and garnish with lime or slice of watermelon.

Notes

Make sure to strain the watermelon juice after blending, or else your cocktail will be fairly pulpy. You can also purchase store bought watermelon juice, but it's definitely more expensive.

Use a fresh, ripe watermelon to achieve the best results.

Use freshly squeezed lime juice to maximize the flavor of your cocktail.

To make sure you achieve that classic look, use martini glasses and garnish with a small slice of watermelon.
