Description
This Cranberry Mimosa is the easiest holiday cocktail! With just 3 ingredients, these beautiful and festive mimosas are perfect for entertaining because they're super easy to make, totally delicious, and look amazing!
Ingredients
For two mimosas:
- 4 fluid oz sparkling wine
- 2 fluid oz unsweetened cranberry juice
- ½-1 fluid oz simple syrup or maple syrup
Instructions
- Add the cranberry juice and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker filled halfway with ice. Shake well.
- (Optional) Rim the glasses in sprinkles or sugar for garnish. To do so, rub a lime slice along the rim of your glass, then roll the rim of the glass in fine sprinkles/sugar.
- Add the cranberry mixture to a champagne glass and top with sparkling wine! Garnish with a cranberry or two and a sprig of rosemary.
Notes
Everything tastes best chilled: For the most refreshing cocktail, chill all of the components of this cranberry mimosa for several hours before assembling. Since there are only 3 ingredients in this cocktail, having chilled ingredients makes a big difference. You can even chill the champagne flutes if you'd like!
Skip the simple syrup: If you don't want to use simple syrup, just use a sweetened cranberry juice instead.
Orange liqueur: For an extra boost of flavor, you can add in 1/2 - 1 fl oz of an orange liqueur like Grand Marnier to this recipe.
Sparkling wine: For this recipe, we're using Prosecco, but any sparkling wine will work just fine. Feel free to use Champagne in this recipe (it just tends to be more expensive). Sparkling rosé would be another great option.
