Description
These Watermelon Berry Popsicles hit the spot on a hot, sunny day! They're gluten free and vegan, super refreshing, and are made with just five simple ingredients.
Ingredients
- 3 cups frozen or fresh watermelon, cubed
- 1 cup frozen or fresh raspberries
- 1 cup frozen or fresh cherries
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 2 tbsp agave
Instructions
- Blend watermelon, raspberries, cherries, lime and honey or agave until completely smooth.
- Pour into popsicle molds leaving a bit of room at the top (so they can expand) and freeze for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight.
- Let soften for a few minutes or run under warm water for a few seconds before removing from popsicle molds.
Notes
If using stainless steel molds, you can quickly remove popsicles by running the mold under warm water for a few seconds.
Choice of sweetener: Agave, honey, or even maple syrup are all viable options, so feel free to use any of those. Since we're using fruit, the popsicles will have a good bit of natural sweetness, so you can leave out the additional sweetener altogether if you'd like.
Choice of berries: We put cherries and raspberries in our pops. Since cherries can be slightly annoying to pit, we'd endorse using strawberries as an alternative there. These would also be great with peaches, nectarines, blueberries, blackberries, or any other summer fruit of your choice.
