Description
This frozen raspberry daiquiri is sweet, tart, refreshing and SO easy to make in less than 5 minutes! It's the ultimate refreshing summer cocktail and the perfect quick recipe for novice home bartenders!
Ingredients
- 12 oz frozen raspberries
- 2 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
- 2 oz agave or simple syrup
- 3 oz white rum
- 2 oz Chambord (raspberry liqueur)
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a blender and blend on high until smooth. Garnish with fresh raspberries and a slice of lime.
Notes
Lime juice: freshly squeezed is ALWAYS best in cocktails. Avoid using the stuff that comes in a can or bottle, which always contains preservatives and never tastes nearly as good and tart as fresh.
Agave: simple syrup is traditional in a raspberry daiquiri, but if you're making it from scratch this recipe takes a bit longer. To speed up the recipe, we often replace simple syrup with agave syrup, which is a perfect 1:1 substitute!
Chambord: this is technically an optional ingredient, but highly encouraged! It really takes this raspberry daiquiri to the next level. You could also use orange liqueur, like Triple Sec, Cointreau or Grand Marnier.
Kick up the flavor of this raspberry daiquiri with the addition of homemade infused rum! Check out this post for instructions on how to infuse rum (and other liquors).
We don't suggest making this cocktail ahead of time, as it needs to stay frozen. However, you can always measure out the ingredients ahead of time for super quick assembly when you're ready to serve!
